Cancer tumors are classified as benign, malignant, or precancerous (premalignant) in three ways:

• Benign tumors are slow-growing and do not spread to other regions of the body. When benign tumors grow too large and exert pressure on other organs, they might become a problem.
• Malignant tumors develop more quickly than benign tumors and can spread and kill surrounding tissue. In a process known as metastasis, malignant tumor cells can break away from the original (primary) tumor and migrate to other areas of the body.
• A condition that comprises aberrant cells that can develop (or are likely to develop) into cancer is called precancerous (or premalignant).

In general, cancer treatment methods include surgery, chemotherapy, and radiotherapy. These treatment approaches may be employed alone or in combination, depending on the type of cancer.

• Chemotherapy

It is a medication that employs strong chemicals to kill rapidly growing cells in your body. Chemotherapy is a treatment approach that can be administered orally, intramuscularly, or intravenously.

• Radiotherapy (Radiation Therapy)

It is described as the use of radiation to treat malignant tissue or some benign tumors. It is delivered by devices that emit high-energy X-rays from a radioactive source.

• Smart Drugs (Genotyping)

They are targeted medications designed to inhibit the functions of aberrant cells. The therapeutic approach employed is tablets, intravenous medication, and subcutaneous administration.

• Ozone Therapy

Ozone therapy is one of the additional treatment options used in cancer patients. It aids in cancer treatment by increasing the body’s resistance, which improves immune system activation and promotes the generation of cancer-fighting cells.

• Hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC)

In certain advanced stage cancers that have recurred or are suitable, it is the practice of applying a certain amount of cancer drug to the abdomen after all visible tumors are removed during particular surgery by heating with special medical devices and washing the inside of the belly.
